In addition to artist development, the service is largely about working out the most efficient way for artists to achieve their songwriting/recording goals. Our studio facilities allow singers and bands to cost effectively complete high quality recordings of their work. Our studio affiliations also allow us to arrange for artists to get the best value out of utilising 301s main studio facilities when required.

We give involved assistance to artists with the composition, performance and recording of their original material. In some cases we collaborate with the artists to write original material. We provide the kind of creative input and understanding that is not readily offered by others in the industry.

This ranges from taking a fundamental role in the co-composition and arrangement of songs, providing diverse instrumentation and backing vocals for recordings, to just giving advice throughout the pre-production and final recording/mixing/mastering process.

Our recording work plan is flexible to artist needs. However for developing artists, our experience has led us to develop a recommended work plan, that optimises the quality of work and benefit derived. This is as follows:

Each song is completed from pre production to releasable master over a month (several songs can be completed simultaneously). Each song project has at least one scheduled session per week. Additional time is spent working on the songs between artists contact sessions.

We also provide the follwing consultancy services;

*providing musicians with techs to help buy equipment, pull sounds etc

*providing advice, project management, and assistance with recording, production, song writing and promotion

*pulling a band together and preparing for professional performance etc.
